Peeqo, The Robot Who Can Show Emotion Through GIFs!

Peeqo’s Parts

At the bottom of Peeqo are some lead weights to make him more stable. The fabric covering Peeqo is Spandex that Abhishek stitched together to cover Peeqo’s exoskeleton, while still allowing for movement. In order to attach the head Abhishek used Neodynium magnets instead of screws. The fewer screws the better! This rule was followed for Peeqo’s whole body, which makes it easier to be able to disassemble for any fixes.

At the top of his head, Peeqo has an LED ring, which is actually a notification light. Abhishek also made sure to have all the USB ports pointing upwards which made it easier to plug in a keyboard or mouse if little Peeqo starts acting up. Peeqo was also installed with his very own brain, which in this case is a the Raspberry Pi 3 motherboard. Peeqo also has his very own camera and can take photos, as well as a USB speaker. Abhishek hopes one day Peeqo will even be able to follow and track faces.
