Guy Builds Dream Home In Six Weeks And It’s Insane!
Steve’s Arch Might Rival The Best Structures
Here, we have a great shot of the second piece of the home being constructed while the first finishes drying. You can clearly see the wooden, boat-like portholes that almost resemble a Noah’s (in this case Steve’s) ark in this stage, resting upon the unfinished aircrete masterpiece with, again, simple wooden posts holding it up.
Although these look a bit silly now, you will be amazed to see how beautiful the home looks with the “windows” installed and the amount of natural sunlight it allows Areen during the beautiful Thailand days. It will seriously blow your mind what he is able to do inside of these simple structures.
No Heavy Lifting Involved!
As mentioned earlier, the estimated weight of the material is considerably lighter than most materials that are normally used to build homes. We can see Areen easily carrying a piece of the matter used to build his dream home. While it looks like a regular piece of building material and Areen is somehow superhero level strong, the material is actually super light.
To put the weight of aircrete in more specific terms, it is exactly 20% lighter than standard concrete, which can significantly speed up the building process as it did for Areen and his Thai friend. One extremely interesting fact about aircrete is that it does not require sand, gravel, or rock; all it needs is a little dish detergent to mix into it! Amazing, right? Piece by piece we are getting closer to the final look at his dream home!
