All “Nasty Women” Are Vowing To Take Down Trump

Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren are proving that even “nasty women” can make an impact. The two female politicians are banding together after Donald Trump called Clinton a “nasty woman” during the debate, and are using his own words against him.

KERRY NOMINATION

Elizabeth Warren stated during a stop for Hillary Clinton’s campaign trail at Saint Anselm College, “Donald Trump disrespects — aggressively respects — more than half the human beings in this country. He thinks just because he has money, he can call women fat pigs and bimbos. He thinks that because he’s a celebrity, he can rate women from 1 to 10. He thinks that because he has a mouthful of Tic Tacs, he can force himself on any woman within groping distance.”

She detailed why women, especially “nasty women,” have had it with men like Trump who believe that they are not smart, intelligent, or fierce enough. She then told Trump directly that even “nasty women” vote and he should be afraid of who he talks about.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that Donald Trump using the words “nasty woman” as an insult is doing the exact opposite of what he wanted. Women all over the United States are rallying together to proudly support the Clinton campaign and young female voters are said to be particularly in favor of voting for Clinton.

The “nasty woman” comment broke the internet and Clinton is now using it to her full advantage to convince young women voters to vote against Trump. The hashtag #nastywoman was created to let young women voice their own experiences with misogyny and allow them to find other women who are interested in politics. Within an hour of the debate, BBC stated that over a quarter of a million tweets included the phrase, “nasty women” and by 4 a.m. #nastywoman was Twitter’s number two hashtag.

Clinton supporter Jeff Meltz has also taken the “nasty women” movement to a whole other level by purchasing the domain website name, “Nasty Women Get [expletive] Done.” The website redirects visitors to the Hillary Clinton campaign website and Meltz states, “I forwarded to Hillary’s site because I’m voting for her, and want to make any possible effort I could make to drive more traffic and donations to her campaign. I figured, why not.”

#GirlBoss empire Nasty Gal is also hopping on to the Hillary bandwagon by creating clothes with “nasty women” inspired logos and pictures. The female clothing brand is now selling “Nasty Women” tees that are adorned with Hillary Clinton’s face or with the famous phrase, “Nasty Women, Unite!” A portion of the proceeds from tee shirt sales goes to the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Donald Trump’s insult is actually a huge boost for Clinton when it comes to exposure. Hillary Clinton herself is now identifying as the “nasty woman” candidate, which is helping her campaign resonate with young female voters. Twitter user Michelle Wolf puts it perfectly stating, “Nasty woman is the coolest thing Hillary has even been called,” and Clinton is using her new gained popularity to gain votes this November.
