Robin Barton’s biological mother, Sabrina Diaz, had been sentenced to three years in prison for child endangerment and attempted murder after her abandonment of her infant son. Although shocking to hear, Robin still wanted to continue the search for his mother and believed that if he made contact with her, it would give him the opportunity for some closure.
