Forrest Compton played the role of Lieutenant Colonel Edward Gray on the Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. show. After the show ended, he landed the role of Mike Karr in the soap opera The Edge of Night. Compton hasn’t acted on screen since his appearance on a 2002 episode of the NBC show Ed.
