The Office: A Peek Behind The Scenes

After The Office ended, Rainn Wilson, who played Dwight Schrute, kept busy. He’s appeared in several independent films, as well as voicing Gargamel in the 2017 reboot of The Smurfs: The Lost Village. He also co-wrote the New York Times Bestseller SoulPancake: Chew on Life’s Big Questions and wrote a memoir called The Bassoon King. His most interesting success has little do with acting or writing.

In 2013, Wilson founded the LIDÈ Haiti foundation with his wife Dr. Kathryn Adams. The organization is an educational initiative that uses arts and literacy to empower teenage girls in rural Haiti. They work with over 500 girls and provide scholarships.
