Rogen Wasn’t the Only Comedic Star to Audition

Seth Rogen wasn’t the only star to audition for the hit show and face rejection. Adam Scott auditioned for the role of Jim Halpert before his breakout role on Parks and Recreation as Ben Wyatt. John Cho, on the cups of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle fame, is also seen auditioning for the role of Jim Halpert.

Eric Stonestreet, who went on to achieve fame in the ABC sitcom Modern Family as Cameron Tucker, originally auditioned for the role of Kevin Malone. Despite all the competition for main character roles, the biggest casting switch-up of the show was the role of Michael Scott.
