Here’s a fact that might surprise some fans: Captain Kangaroo appeared in a 2009 comedic blaxploitation flick called Black Dynamite. Not really! His character did make a strange cameo appearance, though, thanks to actor Arsenio Hall. According to the film’s star Michael Jai White, “when he [Hall] read that there’s a Captain Kangaroo pimp in this thing,” he signed on immediately.
