For the most part, the American Idol judges got along really well. Simon, Paula, and Randy had their bicker battles but at the end of the day (show) they all loved each other and were able to laugh about it. But, once season 12 rolled around, the judge’s love affair ended once Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey sat at the table.

Both of those international superstars were only on American Idol for one season and maybe it was for the best. There was a video that leak which showed Minaj badmouthing Mariah and then the two hurling insults at each other. They genuinely did not like one another and it showed in their facial expressions when one of them would be giving criticism.
