Some seriously good talent was rejected during Idol auditions that would ging on to have very good musical careers. Singers like Colbie Caillat and Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott both tried out but neither of them made it past their auditions.

Singer Tori Kelly at least made it to the Hollywood week, but still ended up getting cut. She got nominated for Best New Artist during the 2016 Grammy Awards and won the Breakthrough Artist at the Billboard Women in Music.
